Every child develops differently. These assessments aren't about labels — they are about understanding your child’s unique strengths and the areas where they need extra support.
Intake Session
We begin with a detailed parent intake session, during which we identify and discuss any further child assessments needed based on age and presenting concerns.
Assessments
Developmental Assessment
A standardised, play‑based assessment that provides a detailed profile of your child’s development across six key domains. This helps identify strengths, emerging needs and areas where targeted support may be helpful. Available for children from birth to 6 years.
Auditory Profile
Most hearing tests simply check whether a child can detect sound. Our auditory profiling goes deeper to understand how your child is processing what they hear. It identifies distortions in auditory processing, hypersensitive hearing, or dyslaterality (differences between the ears), all of which can contribute to learning, behavioural or emotional challenges. Available for children from 3 years.
Neuromotor Assessment
A structured evaluation of key neurodevelopmental and motor functions, including retained primitive reflexes, eye‑tracking, balance and coordination, hand‑eye coordination and early handwriting foundations. These skills underpin attention, learning and self‑regulation. Available for children from 7 years.
Important to note
These assessments are not diagnostic and do not provide a medical or clinical diagnosis. Instead, they offer clear, practical insight into your child’s developmental profile and can guide early support, intervention and next steps — with or without a formal diagnosis.
Outcomes
A detailed developmental profile can inform SEN planning, support constructive conversations with your child’s setting and provide a robust foundation for next steps, whether used independently or alongside other services.
